You make my heart

Light in my chest

Ascending to transcendent heights

I can't describe my feelings for you

I get worried that

With how it just won't stop

The feelings of joy and the need to express

You'll get overwhelmed or put off

Because somewhere, at some point it must be too much

But for now, I think

You still seem to love to hear from me

And hear what I feel

How you're what I think and what I love to breathe

And it feels right

To me

Not like times past

Because now I know what it feels like

When everything feels right

It's not just a wave we ride

Or a flame that burns out

And consumes us first

Here there is no fear

And you feel it too

For me, truly
